INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 24, 2014) — A pickup truck smashed into a southwest side business overnight sending three people to the hospital and causing damage to the building.

The driver left a large hole at “Just Drains,” in the 3100 block of Kentucky Avenue. IMPD and Decatur Township Fire responded to the call around 1:15 a.m.

IMPD dispatch says the truck first hit a car on Kentucky Avenue, then lost control and hit the building.

Two people in the truck were taken to the hospital but are expected to be fine. One person from the car was also taken to the hospital to be checked out.

The building had to be shored up.
