FAYETTEVILLE, AR (September 4, 2014) — An Arkansas woman was arrested on Labor Day after she was accused of stealing $144 worth of eye shadow.

Brandy Allen, 31, faces charges of shoplifting and disorderly conduct.

According to KFSM, police responded to an Ulta Beauty Store on Monday with a report of a shoplifter.

A worker said Allen entered the store with an unidentified woman who tried to distract employees by asking a lot of questions.

Allen then made a bee-line to the eye makeup section and started grabbing handfuls of make-up without looking at the color or labels or prices.

An officer and the general manager confronted the woman and asked to see the contents of her purse.

KFSM reports that Allen took out several different packages of eye shadow, and as she pulled out the items, she ran her fingers through the tops of each one, trying to make the eye shadow look used.

She then started to curse loudly and she started knocking all the makeup off the shelves/

The officer took Allen into custody, and the report states that the approximate value of the stolen makeup was $144.

Allen’s bond was set at $830.
