INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 8, 2014) – People fighting a deadly disease received a fitting tribute over the weekend.

A mural was unveiled at IU Health’s Lilly Oncology Center downtown Saturday.

Artists of all walks of life came down to add to the display.

Community members painted the roughly 20-foot mural using a “paint-by-number” format.

It helped create a permanent tribute and show of support for those touched by cancer.

The mural was designed by an Indiana cancer survivor.
