Missouri basketball prospect Juwan Morgan picks Indiana on Wednesday.

WAYNESVILLE, MO – With the usual pomp and circumstances as you would see with any major recruiting announcement in the current era of high school sports, Juwan Morgan made a Hoosier Nation happy on a rainy night in Central Indiana.

The 6-8 forward from Missouri, who has been rated a four-star prospect, ended a five-minute speech by pulling out an Indiana T-Shirt to reveal the crowd at Waynesville (MO) High School.

Morgan choose the Hoosiers over Vanderbilt, whom he said was his other option before his Wednesday selections.

Heading into his senior season at Waynesville Morgan has been rated a four-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals and Scout recruiting services. 247sports.com has Morgan listed as the 87th prospect in the Class of 2015 and as the 18th best power forward in the country.

Morgan is the first to commit to the program in the Class of 2015.
