Funeral set for Indianapolis teen who was strangled, burned

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 10, 2014) – A Ben Davis High School student who was abducted and killed before her body was burned will be laid to rest next week.

The funeral for Dominique Allen, 15, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20 at Hope Baptist Church, 1055 N. Girls School Rd., Indianapolis.

The service starts at 12 p.m., and Allen’s family expects 800 people to attend. It will be a closed casket service. The girl will eventually be cremated.

The church is hosting the funeral free of charge.

Meantime, investigators are still working to find Allen’s killer. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
