INDIANAPOLIS – Once competitors, now teammates.

That’s a pretty typical storyline in most racing series, especially in the Verizon IndyCar Series where turnover is commonplace.

But for Ed Carpenter and Josef Newgarden their partnership is one that’s a bit unique. With the combination of Carpenter and Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing for the upcoming season, Newgarden joins the driver stable of the team along with road course specialist Mike Conway.

It’s makes for a busy offseason for both drivers as they help to bring along a new joint venture for the series in 2015.

But along with that Carpenter and Newgarden are also preparing for a busy weekend coming up at the New Castle Motorsports Park. They will not only be participating in the Dan Wheldon Memorial Karting event but also in the RoboPong 200 endurance race.
