Bullet penetrates house wall, hits man inside

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 19, 2014) – A bullet penetrated a house wall, hitting a man on the inside Thursday night on the city’s northwest side.

Police responded to a person shot run just before 11:45 p.m. in the 5200 block of Telford Court.

The house was riddled with bullet holes when officers arrived on scene.

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg inside of the house.

He was transported to the hospital in good condition.

Officers confirm that the shooter was outside the house and the victim was inside the house.

Police say it’s hard to determine at this time whether the shooting was random or intentional.
