INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 19, 2014) – Family members and friends of a murdered Indianapolis teen will gather for a rally and vigil Friday.

Dominique Allen was strangled last month. Her body was then found burned. Indianapolis Metropolitan police have followed up on several tips. No arrests have been made in connection with the Ben Davis student's death.

Her family is holding a rally at 5 p.m. Friday on the south side of the City-County Building. A candlelight prayer vigil will follow at 7 p.m.

"We will not sleep until we find justice. We won't. We will not sleep, we will not stop," said Mareeka Allen, Dominique's sister.

As the days pass the lack of closure has become extremely difficult for Dominique's family, especially as they prepare to bury her on Saturday.

"The thing that's hard for me is that she cannot rest in peace because whoever did this is still out there," said Shenika Poindexter, Dominique's sister.
