WANTED: Police search for women who used stolen checks after home invasion

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 19, 2014)—Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Cold Case Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying two women wanted in connection with a 2012 robbery and home invasion.

Detectives said two male suspects broke into a residence located in the 1300 block of Keensburg Court and stole several items, including the victim’s checks.  Authorities said the women were caught on surveillance video using the victim’s checks immediately after the home invasion.

After the robbery occurred, police said the male suspects placed the victim inside the trunk of her car and fled the scene.

Police believe the women may know the suspects and want to bring them in for questioning.
