Bar fight leaves one man shot on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 21, 2014) — A bar fight at an east side Indianapolis pub erupts into gunfire outside early Sunday morning, leaving one person shot.

It started inside Si Greene’s Pub at East 10th Street and North Emerson Avenue around 2:45 a.m., when several people who were fighting were asked to leave. But the ruckus continued in the parking lot where police say several shots were fired and one man was shot in the arm. The shooter and a small group of people with him left the scene.

The victim was taken to Eskenazi with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and skinny.
