Krispy Kreme delivers box filled with 2,400 doughnuts

(Sept. 23, 2014) – That’s a lot of doughnuts—2,400 of them, to be exact.

It took eight workers to deliver the giant box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts to a company in the United Kingdom.

The box is about 11.4 feet by 3 feet. The company won a Krispy Kreme contest by tweeting the most about the huge box. Krispy Kreme didn’t know how much the box weighed, but it does know it would cost about $2,600 to buy it in the U.S.

The company’s PR wing used the big box to promote “Krispy Kreme Occasions,” a division that offers custom doughnuts for corporate events and special occasions. They’ll even put chocolate name plates or corporate logos on doughnuts, according to USA Today.
