One person in critical condition after motorcycle crash on the east side

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 26, 2014) – Two motorcycles were involved in a crash early Friday morning, leaving one person in critical condition.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at Southeastern Avenue and St. Peter Street on the east side.

The accident closed Southeastern in both directions for several hours. Police said speed and alcohol were believed to be factors.

One person was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. The other driver was able to talk to police before going to Eskenazi for a blood draw.
