Stolen Indianapolis Animal Care and Control van located on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 26, 2014) – Someone stole an Indianapolis Animal Care and Control van Friday morning, sparking a search for the vehicle.

The theft happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 9600 block of East 37th Place. An IACC officer was at the residence investigating a case when the van was taken.

The officer came out to get dog food and realized the white transit van was gone. No animals were inside.

The vehicle was located Friday evening on the east side in the 6000 block of Windsor Dr. No arrests have been made at this time.
