From fantastic to frustrating…cold snap on its way!

A chilly, bright start underway for our area, as we open the first day of October with sunshine!   An incredible day ahead with highs warming into the middle to upper 70s, on light southeast winds.  Here is your breakdown today and a look ahead to this month’s averages:

 

Rain and storm chances will slowly go up beginning tomorrow, although most of the day on Thursday looks fairly dry and very warm!  Highs tomorrow should reach the lower 80’s, just before a pretty dramatic drop on Friday…This up and down swing in our weather pattern often indicates strong pressure changes!  These changes typically generate high wind flows, which are anticipated now for Friday through Saturday.  Wind gusts could reach 40+ mph by Friday night and much COLDER conditions by Saturday…
