Low-cost flu shots offered at several Marion Co. locations this month

Hoosiers getting flu shots as winter continues

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 2, 2014)– The Marion County Health Department is now offering low-cost flu shots.

The flu shots will be offered at five various locations throughout the month. A full schedule is below.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the flu vaccine for anyone six months of age or older. It takes about two weeks after you’re vaccinated to be protected.

The vaccines cost $15 for adults and $10 for children. There is no cost for kids under two years old.
