Carmel's Jalen Walker runs past defenders in the Greyhounds' 37-14 win over Ben Davis.

CARMEL–For the past two years, Ben Davis has defeated Carmel in the regular season….so, for the Greyhounds, third time’s a charm, right?

How about when you add in steady rain and heavy winds?

The answer still was yes.

Carmel neglected the passing game, which would have been wrecked by the weather, and instead focused mainly on its ground game–rushing for 450 yards Friday night.

Contributing rushing touchdowns for the Greyhounds were quarterback Michael Viktrup, receiver Tobias Watkins, and receiver Jalen Walker, who managed two scores.

The Giants had just two touchdowns Friday. One being a seven-yard run by Dorian Tate and the other and a three-yard run by LeShawn Johnson.

Carmel's 37-14 win over Ben Davis allows the Greyhounds to maintain their perfect record which is now 7-0. The Giants move to 5-2.
