INDIANAPOLIS (Oct.4,2014)–The 31st annual Circle City Classic hit the streets of Indianapolis.  The weekend is highlighted by a college football game, but it’s much more than just a game.

“I love the parade, I don’t care how cold it is.  We come every year,” said Rochelle Kichalow.

Over 100,000 people are expected to be in the city.  Organizers say the event is expected to bring about $8 million to the city.

The proceeds from the ticket sales help a deserving student attend college.  More than $3 million dollars worth of scholarships have been awarded over the years.

The event is sponsored by The Indiana Black Expo and the Indiana Sports Corporation
