HOLLAND, In. (Sept. 5th, 2014) — A Huntingburg teen was killed Sunday afternoon following an ATV accident.

Indiana Conservation Officers say William Conner Hall, 14, was pronounced dead by the Dubois County Coroner’s Office after being transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Hall and three other juveniles were riding their ATV’s north on County Road 850 W when they attempted to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Hall then struck the front of a tractor/loader going south, driven by Mike Hillsmeyer, also of Huntingburg.

A juvenile passenger on Hall’s ATV received non-life threatening injuries. Hall was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

This makes the 10th fatality in Indiana involving an ATV this year.
