RAIN CHANCE LATE
Clouds arriving tonight will gradually increase and bring a few showers into central Indiana before sunrise on Saturday. Any rain will be light and brief. This is the only rain threat this weekend.
ONE YEAR AGO – RECORD COLD AND SNOW
Last year on this date a record cool high temperature occurred – only reaching 40°! Snow showers developed by early afternoon – bringing the second snowfall of the season. A wet snow coated cars last October 24th.
70° high temperatures are forecasts for 3 out of the next 4 days. That’s rare – from this date gong forward we only average another five 70 degree days. The exception is Sunday – as a cold front passing early afternoon Saturday will bring a brief pull back to the warmth before a new surge of mild air hits Monday.
Get out and enjoy – especially this weekend – the final weekend of October.
