Storms early today; could we see flurries later this week?

(Oct. 28, 2014) - Morning rain and storms are now advancing into the area and should remain through lunchtime today!  Nothing too severe is anticipated but strong gusts will happen along the line and heavier downpours will be expected in spots.  Sunshine will build back in this afternoon as temperatures hover in the middle to lower 60s. Here's how much rain is expected this morning and a breakdown of the day:

Look for more sunshine but cooler conditions for Wednesday and Thursday before more changes on Friday heading into Halloween night:

Weather computer models are now reverting back to a much colder solution for Halloween.  This was actually hinted at a week ago and now looks like it's coming to fruition.  What's that mean to you?  My current thinking is not great!  As of now, it looks like we could see rain showers mixing with flurries for Friday afternoon with highs only in the lower 40s!  Sharply colder temperatures are also expected for the weekend mornings, with a hard freeze in many locations.
