INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 14, 2014)-- Business owners beware, police are on the lookout for a serial burglar. He has been caught on surveillance cameras many times, but police haven't been able to track him down.

On September 16, the burglar was caught on an infrared camera as he stole two bottles of Crown Royal from the 86th Street Pub.

"He smashed the cash register, but there was nothing there," Brian Haan, General Manager at 86th Street Pub.

Oct. 13 police say he hit the Dollar General located at 6908 S. Madison Ave.

Then, on Oct. 30, he was at it again, striking three businesses in the same northside strip mall.

"It is hurtful obviously. We work hard everyday to make the business better," said Yaneth Hernandez.

Hernandez' family owns the variety store and Mexican restaurant that was burglarized.

The surveillance video shows the man with his face covered as he casually walks back and forth in front of 'Anto Jitos,' located at 7940 Michigan Road.Moments later,he blasts out the front window with a hammer and he sneaks in. He went straight for the cash.

"He already knew where the money was.He didn't care about anything else," said Hernandez.

Police say the 'serial burglar' is responsible for at least six burglaries across the city. His last target was a dry cleaner in Broad Ripple on Wednesday.

"It was pretty surprising. It seems like that person has done it several times," said Hernandez.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned black male, between 5'7"-5'10". In the photos he had facial hair. If he looks familiar, you can call police at 317-262-TIPS.
