INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 14, 2014) – A vacant house fire on the city’s near north side Friday morning spread to two homes.

IFD was called to the 2400 block of Broadway St around 3:05 a.m.

When they arrived they discovered heavy flames shooting from the attic of a vacant home.

The flames spread to a second vacant house next to it, and firefighters had to pull back and switch to defensive attack only.

There are no injuries, and it is unclear as to how the fire started.
