Alex Neligh celebrates the McAlister's SPUDtacular Play of the Week Award with his teammates.

NEW PALESTINE – It may go down as the most dominant offensive performance of the 2014 IHSAA football season.

Against Beech Grove in the Sectional Championship, Alex Neligh led the New Palestine offense to a season-high 80 points in a victory over the Hornets to advance to Regionals.

But one of those scoring plays-which he made on his own-was the most SPUDtacular of the all.

The quarterback's 47-yard touchdown scramble was voted on by you the fans as the McAlister's SPUDtacular Play of the Week for games played on November 7th. Neligh celebrated by helping the Dragons to Semi State with a 43-13 win over Roncalli on Friday night.
