INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 17, 2014) – Kids wanting to send their wish list to Santa can drop their letters off at Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis when it opens later this week.

Each year, this mailbox is installed for children of all ages to send their letters to Santa – all thanks to the United States Postal Service and Downtown Indy. The mailbox will open on November 19th.

Children can drop off their letters addressed to Santa, and he will personally answer each letter that has a return address.

Santa says that he appreciates stamped, self-addressed envelopes.

The mailbox will be set up through December 12th.

In 2013, more than 5,000 letters were sent to Santa.
