THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A
FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST /6 AM
CST/ THIS MORNING.
* TIMING...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA THROUGH 6
AM EST. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE MID 30S TOWARD DAYBREAK
ENDING THE THREAT OF FREEZING RAIN.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN ONE TENTH OF AN INCH.
* IMPACTS...ROADS AND SIDEWALKS MAY BECOME SLICK CAUSING
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL FOR MOTORISTS AND PEDESTRIANS.
A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
