Students spend school day focused on issue of bullying

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 22, 2014) — The Indianapolis Public School system is hosting a “Showcase of Schools” Saturday for parents of both prospective and current students.

Representatives of all 60 schools will be on hand to answer any questions parents and students may have. You can even sign up your child for one of the magnet programs, just bring his or her original birth certificate, complete immunization records, proof of residence, and your picture ID. Teacher recommendations and a recent report card are also are required. Performing arts magnet schools will require an audition as well.

The Showcase of Schools will be held at Circle Centre Mall from 10AM until 4PM. The first 400 families to attend will receive a gift bag and parking voucher for any mall garage.
