Officer calls in garage fire on west side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 22, 2014) — Firefighters are investigating a garage fire on the west side after an officer happened to see the structure burning late Friday night, and called it in.

It happened in the 3400 block of Georgetown Road around midnight. No one was injured and firefighters were able to knock the flames down in time to save the home from damage, but the garage was a complete loss.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the fire.
