Purdue University dance marathon raises funds for Riley Hospital for Children

INDIANAPOLIS, In (November 23, 2014) — Riley Hospital for Children is celebrating a large donation, thanks to thousands of Purdue University students.

The students took part in the 11th annual Purdue University dance marathon this weekend on the West Lafayette campus.

This is video from an earlier dance marathon, known by many as one of the largest in the country.

2500 students danced for 18 hours, to raise just over $1 Million dollars for Riley.

The majority of the funds will benefit pediatric cancer research.
