(November 24, 2014) – It may seem like an odd place for a wedding, but it was perfect or this bride and groom

Cathryn Copeland and fiancé, Conner Wood, had planned to marry in front of friends and family on November 1.

But when bride’s mother, Janet, was hospitalized with terminal cancer, they decided they had to move up the wedding and hold it at Cathryn’s mother’s cancer facility.

So their friends and family selflessly dropped everything to be by Cathryn and Conner’s sides as they became man and wife on Tuesday, October 22nd in the beautiful garden on the hospital’s grounds.

The couple’s wedding photographer Jess Barfield said, “I’ll never forget the moment CC and her dad were ushered through M.D. Anderson and patients clapped and cheered all the way to the ceremony.”

Janet passed away 2 weeks after her gorgeous daughter’s wedding day.
