(November 26, 2014) – A woman known as “Grandma Boop” has been trying to get into the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for 30 years. And finally her wish has come true!

Her daughters pulled some strings and surprised her with the news on her 83rd birthday.

In the video you can hear the conversation between the woman and her daughters.

“No you’re actually going to be in the parade.”

“How can I be in the parade? Are we sneaking in?”

“We got you in the parade!”

“How did you get me in the parade? Am I really in the parade?”

“You’re in the parade!”

At first she thought they gave her a trip to New York City so she could see the parade in person, but she was elated when she found out she was actually in the parade!

Watch for Grandma Boop in the parade on Thursday. She’ll be dressed as a clown.
