DES MOINES, Iowa (Dec. 3, 2014) – An Iowa man made it very clear he wasn’t a fan of McDonald’s McChicken sandwich.

According to the Des Moines Register, Marvin Tramaine Hill II, 21, was so upset by the sandwich his wife brought home for him that he threw it at her.

Police were called to the couple’s home Tuesday in response to a domestic dispute. Hill told police his wife woke him up around 1 p.m. with the sandwich in hand. He said he threw it at her, picked up the bun and then threw it again.

The woman went to the bathroom to clean up. At that point, the newspaper reported, he recorded her on his cell phone. The video showed his wife knock the phone out of his hands.

The woman had mayonnaise on her shirt and face when officers talked to her. She said Hill smashed the bun into her face.

Police said her nose was swollen and believed Hill tried to get her to knock the phone out of his hands so she would look like the aggressor, according to the police report.

Hill was arrested on a count of simple domestic battery and taken to the Polk County Jail. His weapons permit was confiscated.
