(December 4, 2014) – Indiana native Lauren Hill, the college basketball player who has inspired the country with her fight against brain cancer, is set to begin hospice care at home.

According to Lauren’s Fight for Cure Facebook page, Lauren was originally supposed to start hospice at the end of October, but they postponed it so Lauren could play one final game at Mount Saint Joseph.

Lauren’s family is excited to have additional resources coming to their home, and they say overall Lauren “has been in good spirits this week and staying busy with special projects.”

In fact, Lauren even traveled with her Mount Saint Joseph teammates to their game in Lexington, Ky., last night.

Lauren didn’t play but she had fun with her basketball sisters.
