One dead after crash in Shelby County

SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (Dec. 8, 2014)– One person died at the scene of an accident in Shelby County Monday.

Officials say a Ford F-350 was traveling northbound on I-65 near the 80-mile marker and left the roadway, causing the truck to flip several times.

The vehicle came to a rest in a creek on the east side of the interstate.

Three people were ejected from the car. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health via helicopter.
