(Dec. 19, 2014) - Don't be shocked but there may be something bright in the sky today!  Yes, indications of sunshine returning for today, as temperatures slowly climb into the lower 30s.  Frosty start this morning and dry conditions will hold for the entire day...enjoy!

Expect a dry and seasonal weekend with great travel conditions across the state both days.  A storm system will begin to approach and deepen on Monday and progress through Christmas Day morning.  Monday and Tuesday look mostly wet, as rain showers and “milder” temperatures hold for the state.

Wednesday will be quite possibly the worst day of travel.  Although snowfall totals appear fairly light (for now), the combination of strong winds and falling temperatures could really snarl traffic.  This is still out in the Pacific Ocean but bears watching in the days ahead. Keep it tuned to FOX59 and FOX59.com to follow the latest developments.
