INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 23, 2014)– A person was shot on the city’s west side Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the 6800 block of West 11th Street on a report of a person shot.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) confirms that one person was shot in the chest. The victim was taken to Eskenazi Health in critical condition.
