MADSION COUNTY, Ind. (Jan. 7, 2015)—A 21-year-old Fishers woman was arrested Wednesday morning after authorities said she drove her car off the roadway and crashed into the median cable barriers.

Troopers with Indiana State Police responded to the scene on Interstate 69 near the 225 mile marker, where they found a single-vehicle accident involving a 2003 Acura.

A trooper reported he smelled an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver, identified as Mallory Orcutt.

Police said Orcutt’s BAC level was over the legal limit of .08 percent.

Orcutt was transported to the Madison County Jail on a charge of operating while intoxicated.
