Man found dead in Lafayette on Christmas identified

LAFAYETTE (Jan. 7, 2015) – Lafayette police have identified a man whose body was found on Christmas Day.

Police said Primitivo Flores, 26, Lafayette, was employed at Teppanyaki Grill. His body was discovered on Dec. 25, 2014, in the 3300 block of Sagamore Parkway.

Two people, William A. Paz, 42, and Juan Alberto Imul Pop, 26, were arrested in connection with the case. Police said both had worked with Flores at Teppanyaki Grill.

Tippecanoe County Coroner Donna Avolt ruled Flores’ death a homicide and said he died from a severe loss of blood.

Toxicology results were pending in the case.
