NDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 10, 2015) — A Minnesota man visiting family here in Indianapolis braved the sub-zero temperatures to make a special surprise for his brother and sister-in-law in their front yard.

Dan Benson created an amazing ice sculpture, even though he may not be a Colts fan, but his family members who are say the whole neighborhood has been enjoying the ice sculpture he created.

Benson  spent a few hours out in the cold creating the Colts inspired ice sculpture, in their yard.

“In Minnesota every year we have quite a bit of snow and cold and somehow we have to waste our time or have fun with our time,” Benson said. “So every year I’ve been going out in the front yard and making ice sculptures and letting the neighborhood see them.”

Dan says a lot of people have been driving by and even getting out of their cars to check it out for them.

They’ve seen several pictures posted on Facebook and twitter of the sculpture.
