RECIPES: Ahi Tuna Nachos

Ahi Tuna Nachos

Ingredients

  • 4 Wonton cups
  • Avocado Habanero Salsa (recipe below)
  • 3 oz. Ahi tuna
  • ¾ tsp. Chives
  • 1/8 tsp. Red chili flakes
  • 2 tsp. Citrus oil
  • 1/8 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp. Sriracha mayonnaise (recipe below)
  • Cilantro sprigs
  • 1/8 tsp. Black sesame seeds

Instructions

Combine tuna, citrus oil, chives, red pepper flakes and kosher salt. Fill each wonton cup with ¾ tbsp. of avocado habanero salsa and divide tuna mixture amongst each cup. Drizzle sriracha mayonnaise on top and garnish with a cilantro sprig and black sesame seeds.

 

Avocado Habanero Salsa

Ingredients

  • 5-6 fresh habanero chilies
  • ¼ cup Red onion
  • ¼ cup Cilantro
  • 6 oz. Rice wine vinegar
  • 3 oz. Cider vinegar
  • 2-3 avocados

Instructions

Remove seeds from chilies, mince and place in large mixing bowl. Add red onion, cilantro, rice wine vinegar and cider vinegar. Mix to combine. Toss with chopped avocados.

 

Sriracha Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 Lime
  • 8 cups Mayonnaise
  • 2 cups Sriracha chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. Kosher salt

Instructions

Squeeze juice of one lime in a large mixing bowl. Place all other ingredients in bowl and mix to combine.
