BOWLING GREEN, KY (Jan. 15, 2015) –A linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts was arrested Friday morning in connection with a drunk driving case.

Andrew Jackson, 22, was arrested in Bowling Green, Ky. on charges of careless driving and operating a vehicle while under the influence.

According to the arrest report, Jackson smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. After failing a standardized field sobriety test, Jackson was placed under arrest.

Jackson told police he had previously drank alcohol, but he wouldn’t say how long it had been since his last drink, according to the report.

He was booked into the jail just before 5 a.m. Friday and released at 12:30 p.m.

A May 20 court date has been set for the careless driving charge.
