Second bomb threat reported this month at Concord High School

Elkhart, IN. -(Jan. 27, 2015) For the second time in a month, Concord High School has received a bomb threat. Elkhart County Sheriff’s  officials confirm that a student found a message in the girl’s restroom  Monday saying a bomb was inside the high school.  School officials quickly contacted the Sheriff’s office who conducted their investigation but found no device.

On January 15,  the school again received another threat that a bomb was inside the school. That investigation also found no evidence of any bomb or explosive.

School officials and the Sheriff’s office are stepping up patrols of the school grounds and also providing searches of buildings with a bomb sniffing dog to help maintain the safety of the school.
