Police: Man in ‘swag’ hat robs Indianapolis business

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 3, 2015) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police need help identifying a man wanted in connection with a December robbery.

Around 12:50 p.m. on December 31, investigators said the man robbed the Dinner Bell Market, 2824 S. Shelby St. He implied he had a gun and put a white plastic bag on the counter before demanding money from the cash registers, police said.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man, who is about 5’10” and 170 pounds. He was also wearing a hat that said “swag.”
