Powerball jackpot keeps growing

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 5, 2015) – It’s the biggest Powerball jackpot since February of last year – Saturday’s top prize now up to an estimated $380 million. If won, it will be the 7th biggest Powerball jackpot in history.

Players can purchase tickets at Hoosier Lottery retailers before 9:58 p.m. ET. Fox 59 is Indy’s exclusive home for televised Lottery drawings, including Powerball and Mega Millions. Saturday’s Powerball drawing airs immediately following Fox 59 News at 10, followed by your live Hoosier Lottery Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawing.

Wednesday night’s drawing produced a big win in for one Hoosier – a ticket purchased in Portage is worth $10,000. The player matched four white ball numbers plus the red Powerball number. Over 33,000 winning tickets, with a prize value of over $187,000, were sold in Indiana for Wednesday’s drawing.

Indiana continues to lead the nation in Powerball jackpot wins, with 38 so far.
