Person shot near downtown

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 8, 2015) – Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating a person who was shot twice in the 1400 block of Tremont Street.

Police say a man was shot in the stomach, northwest of downtown on Sunday evening but did not know the location of where the shooting actually took place.

The alleged shooter was still on the scene when police arrived.

There have been no names or conditions released in this case.
