Winter storm warning for southern Indiana; snowfall expected throughout the day

(Feb. 16, 2015) – Drivers around the state should expect a slow commute Monday.

A winter storm was projected to hit south of Indianapolis, although the metro area could still see its share of problems on the road.

Expect unseasonably cold temperatures and steady snowfall throughout the day. A winter storm warning is in effect through early Tuesday morning for some southern Indiana counties.

Higher accumulations are expected for areas like Bloomington, Columbus, Seymour, North Vernon and Greensburg.
