INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 19, 2015)– The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) has canceled trash collection for Thursday and Friday due to dangerously low wind chills.

DPW said that customers affected by the decision will have double pickup on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27.

More than 50 Indiana counties were under a travel alert Thursday morning as dangerous wind chills and snow made travel challenging. Wind chills over the next two days are expected to be in the -10 to -20 degree range.
