Vaccant apartment fire results in $60,000 in damages

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – (Feb. 22, 2015)Just before 4:30pm Sunday, the Indianapolis Fire Depart was dispatched to an apartment fire at the Twin Hill Apartment complex located at 2210 East 36th St.

Upon arriving firefighters found the upper level on fire but were able to quickly extinguish the blaze in about 15 minutes.

Officials report that no one was living at the dwelling at the time of the fire as the former residents had just moved out last Friday. Damage to the apartment is listed $60,000 and that the cause is still under investigation.
