School bus involved in crash on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 24, 2015) - No one was hurt after a crash involving a school bus and several vehicles on the northwest side.

According to dispatchers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened near 52nd Street and Guion Road. The bus was from Pike Township.

Police on scene told FOX59 that there were 11 students on the bus but said no one was hurt. Those students were transferred to another bus.

Police said it appeared a car making a left turn ignored the stop sign and hit a red car that crashed into the bus. The first car went through the snow on the side of the road and hit a black Cadillac before eventually crashing into a barrier wall.
