INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 24, 2015) – A lockdown was in effect for part of downtown Indianapolis, including Lucas Oil Stadium, as officials investigated a suspicious vehicle.

The lockdown was lifted around 2:35 p.m. Police said a man left his car running and walked into the post office, asking people inside to “pray with him.”  The man then went to Lucas Oil Stadium, before going to the Convention Center, where he was detained.
Authorities are questioning the man.

Indianapolis Metropolitan police blocked off roads along Capitol Avenue as they investigated the vehicle that was parked near the downtown post office.  The roads have reopened.
