INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (March 7, 2015) — Happy National Cereal Day! Whether it’s Raisin Bran or Lucky Charms, today’s the day to celebrate a breakfast (and sometimes dinner) favorite. In 2014, Americans spent more than $9.02 billion on breakfast cereals.

According to a 2014 study, the most popular cereal is Honey Nut Cheerios. It raked in  over $510,260,672 for maker General Mills last year.
